Fafard potting mixes sprout new look
July 12, 2010

Conrad Fafard Inc.’s brand revitalization is nearly complete. The growing-media producer’s new retail bags are starting to bloom in independent garden centers (IGCs) this summer. “Our retail packaging is our key marketing face to the consumer,” said Chris Sexton, Retail Market manager, Fafard. “The new bags are dramatic, distinctive and definitely differentiate us from our competitors.” Though the packaging has changed, contents inside the bag have not. “Gardeners can still count on the same tried-and-true ingredients and impressive results,” Sexton said.

Garden Centers of America® Announces Supplier of the Year

Garden Centers of America®, a non-profit national association of independent garden centers, is pleased to announce that Conrad Fafard, Inc. has been named as their 2009 Supplier of the Year. The award, selected by garden center owners from across the United States, recognizes suppliers that have made significant and on-going contributions to the industry. The official award ceremony will be held June 28, 2009, in Portland, Ore., during the organization’s annual Summer Tour kick-off event.

Fafard to build Manitoba plant

A wholly owned Canadian subsidary of Conrad Fafard, Inc., FPM Peat Moss Company Ltd., today announced it will build a peat processing and mix facility in Manitoba. The new plant will allow Fafard to better serve markets in the central and western United States
