Fafard is devoted to maintaining high-quality, renewable resources. We strictly adhere to all of the guidelines of the Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss Association, including its Preservation and Reclamation Policy that defines procedures for opening, harvesting and closing bogs. Fafard has been recognized for its efforts in returning harvested bogs to wetlands in order to preserve the area’s ecological balance.
